CHALLENGE
This major US tier one automotive manufacturer was faced with a difficult challenge. Operating in an international trade environment, they were required to meet certain statutory reporting requirements and abide by federal trade regulations. Their current system configuration did not allow them to easily meet these requirements, and they recognized this as a significant risk to their continued business.
THE SOLUTION
Bucher + Christian Consulting was contacted to assist in developing and implementing a solution to meet the stringent requirements. A team of experts engaged key business stakeholders in a series of meetings to identify the current and future requirements of the process. These requirements were utilized to develop a solution in SAP that would provide significant process improvement while minimizing the overall impact to the end-user community. The unique solution provided the client with a more robust and usable solution that will meet their current and strategic needs. All of this was accomplished on-time and on-budget.
